| Homeownership The Homeownership program is designed to transform renters into homeowners. It is responsible for all aspects of home ownership from applicants to homeowner. Public Housing The Public Housing program provides subsidized housing assistance to qualified families in eleven South Carolina counties. The Public Housing program currently consists of 825 units in 16 developments and serves nearly 2000 residents. Section 8 The Section 8 program provides assistance to low-income families in the private rental market through the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Southeastern Housing Foundation Southeastern Housing Foundation (SHF) is a non-profit foundation designed to create quality, safe, and affordable housing opportunities. SHF also owns and operates both Section 8 subsidized and conventional rental properties in South Carolina. |
